“Days of Sri Lanka in Russia and Armenia”, 29 May – 17 June 2014
Caravan Logo- Minsk Sri Lanka is coming to Moscow, the capital of Russia and a number of major Russian cities as well as the Armenian capital city of Yerevan in a fantastic festival of “Days of Sri Lanka” this summer! The Roadshow will be launched in Moscow on 29 May 2014 and then proceed to Kazan, Samara, Saratov, Volgograd, Rostov and end its journey in Yerevan on 17 June 2014. Economic Development Minister Appreciates the Tourism Catalogue
E69T8977 3 The Catalogue on Sri Lanka Tourism in the English language published by the Sri Lanka Embassy in Moscow, Russia was presented to the Minister of Economic Development Hon. Basil Rajapaksa at the Ministry of Economic Development by the Ambassador Udayanga Weeratunga. The Minister expressed his appreciation for the endeavor taken by the Ambassador for promoting tourism in Russia and CIS countries which has increased in many folds during the last few years. He also mentioned that this catalogue will be a very effective tool in promoting Sri Lanka as a tourist destination.

“Mega Tourism Caravan 4” in Ukraine
Caravan Logo- Ukraine In continuation of “Mega Tourism Caravan ” held in August  2013 in the Republic of Belarus,  ‘Tourism Promotional Campaign’ in CIS countries, the Embassy of Sri Lanka in the Russian Federation with the collaboration of the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau launched the fourth phase of the promotion campaign in the Ukraine from 1 to 14 October 2013.
This time the campaign commenced from the city of Kharkov of the Ukraine and took its journey through four other major cities of the Ukraine, Donetsk, Dnepropetrovsk, Odessa and Kiev covering a distance of almost 2000 kilometers on wheels continuing the saga of “Mega Tourism Caravan”
