JPA for Northern Province 2012 was launched
The Joint Plan for Assistance (JPA) for Northern Province 2012 was launched on Tuesday (21) at the Ministry of Economic Development, by the Government together with the United Nations and the broader humanitarian community in the presence of Basil Rajapaksa, Minister of Economic Development. The JPA identifies priority activities and strategies which have been developed in support of the overall national programme to assist the people of the Northern Province to recover further and to sustain their livelihoods in coming years.

Foreign nationals, who intend to visit Sri Lanka for Short Stay, must obtain Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA), prior to their arrival with effect from 01.01.2012.
